A Relaxed Holiday in a Characterful Cottage
Wheelwright’s Cottage makes an ideal holiday retreat for two or three people. Adjoining our own property, the light and airy open plan cottage is the old wheelwright’s workshop and is renovated to an excellent standard, retaining many of the original features, including beams and oak flooring.
The cottage is furnished and equipped with everything you require to make your stay a pleasant one. Visitors have their own front garden and enclosed back courtyard garden (with garden furniture provided) and are also free to explore the eco-campsite (when open) and its small reception area, with produce for sale and information about the area available.
The ground floor of the cottage is an open plan kitchen, living and dining room with beams, traditional floor and a utility room and toilet. On the first floor, there is one large double bedroom with a king size bed (an additional single bed available on request) and a shower room with toilet.
We hope the cottage is furnished with everything you need. This includes bed linen, towels, digital TV, DVD player, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, Wi-Fi and a welcome pack. Parking is available for two cars and a cycle store is available by arrangement. Two friendly pets are welcome free of charge. We operate a no smoking policy in the property.
The cottage is available to book all year.
